Energy Impact Partners is seeking an Operations Associate to oversee and ensure smooth operations for the firm and its employees. This position will manage and execute projects, processes, and day-to-day tasks to create operational excellence at EIP. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, serving as their go to person to get things done. They will have high visibility into the operations of a Private Equity firm and will be responsible for developing insights on ways to improve process and create operational efficiencies. This position is based in New York, NY and expected to be in office at least 4 days a week.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Oversee and execute EIP’s day-to-day operations
  • Act as the primary employee point of contact for operational requests and support
  • Work closely with our outsourced IT team to support the firm IT infrastructure

EIP is seeking a Legal Analyst to join its in-house legal team, led by the General Counsel. EIP’s in-house legal team works closely with internal teams, external vendors, investors and portfolio companies in order to support the firm’s business functions, both in the U.S. and abroad.

 

Key areas of responsibility: 

  • Provide support to the legal team on a variety of routine and complex matters
  • Lead and manage legal contract/document review processes for current/potential portfolio companies, vendors, consultants, etc., including confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, and advisor agreements

Events Manager & Executive Assistant

EIP is looking for an Events Manager & Executive Assistant to support our CEO as their Executive Assistant and help coordinate and manage all company events. EIP hosts numerous events, both internally and externally from concept to execution. You will collaborate closely with leadership to put forth the appropriate events strategy as it relates to investors, employees, portfolio companies and prospects that best showcases the brand ethos and meets key strategic objectives. You will also work closely with the CEO to manage their day-to-day activities, email correspondence, and be the go-to point of contact for their daily interactions. This is a hands-on position and will be based in New York, NY. Please note that events may take place in the evenings and some events will be off-site and require travel.

Events Manager

  • Oversee and execute all EIP events from concept to execution, for employees, external investors, industry and marketing needs. This ranges from intimate dinners and on-site meetings to a 500-person annual meeting.
  • Ability to scout and identify interesting and new ways to create experiences for our guests that are memorable, fun and on-brand.
  • Manage Guest Lists, invitations, RSVPs for all events (familiarity with Cvent is a plus)
  • For On-Site Events, manage all logistics including name badges, table plaques and catering
  • For meals being hosted by EIP, manage scouting and booking of restaurants. Familiarity with NYC restaurants and venues is a plus.
  • For off-site meetings, manage location scouting, contracts, logistics, food and activity selection, and execution.
  • Prepare and maintain a database of all event related information including catering companies, restaurants etc inclusive of attendee feedback, costs, menus.

  • Professional and personal calendar management for the CEO.

EIP is looking a seasoned Receptionist/ Office Coordinator to support the front desk and operational needs of the EIP New York office and oversee operation of our other remote workspaces. This position will have a diverse range of responsibilities and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. EIP seeks to create memorable and positive experiences for our guests and employees in the office and we hope this position can facilitate that. This position will be based in our New York office and reports to our HR & Operations Associate, remote work is not permitted. Please note we have events in our office that may take place earlier in the morning or in the evening and will require you to be in onsite.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Office Manager

  • Manage day-to-day office operations in our NY office
  • Assist our remote offices as needed (Washington DC, San Francisco, and Palm Beach)

The Finance team works closely with the EIP investment, operations and investor relations teams and directly communicates with EIP’s Founder/CEO and COO. This position is based in Washington, DC and will require some travel.

Key areas of responsibility: 

• Coordinate with investment teams for seamless deal execution, portfolio monitoring and funding/disbursements while recording and accounting for related transactions
• Work closely with investment teams on preparation and review of quarterly portfolio company valuations including analysis of complex capital structures and implementation of valuation methodologies in accordance with ASC-820
• Responsible for managing preparation and reviewing annual and quarterly fund financial statements and quarterly/monthly workbooks

Role Descriptions

Intern roles include but are not limited to, those described below:

  • Investment: research market trends and dynamics, build company profiles, update relevant databases, build, and update financial models
  • Investor Relations: update marketing materials to present to potential new investors, support new fundraising efforts, update databases, coordinate due diligence requests
  • Business Development: develop materials to support portfolio companies with sales, strategic initiatives, research potential customers, update relevant databases

This position offers compelling compensation including base salary, annual bonus, and carried interest. This role has the ability to based anywhere in Western Europe.   • Sourcing, vetting and leading new investments across the Deep Decarbonization Frontier Fund’s core investment areas
