EIP is seeking an Analyst for the Investment team in Europe. This analyst will work closely with the equity investment team and assist in all phases of the investment process. This position is based in London.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Source and screen prospective investments
  • Review business plans
  • Perform due diligence on potential investments
  • Research market trends and dynamics
  • Develop investment committee memorandums
  • Develop detailed financial models
  • Model portfolio returns and waterfall analysis

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

EIP is seeking an Associate for its award-winning Impact & Sustainability team. The Impact & Sustainability team works with EIP’s portfolio companies and investors to drive high quality, transparent environmental impact calculations and embed good ESG practices in our industry. The position will support with Impact and ESG due diligence and reporting for the climate solutions companies EIP invests in, as well as engage directly with investee companies to support their ESG performance. This postion will be based in Washington, D.C.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Conduct impact and ESG due diligence for EIP portfolio companies and new investments
  • Assist in the development and implementation of ESG reporting and impact measurement frameworks
  • Engage directly with EIP’s portfolio companies to support their ESG performance and impact calculations
  • Contribute to the production of EIP’s Annual Impact & ESG Report and other sustainability-related materials

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years of experience working with private funds on ESG, impact investing, sustainability management consulting, or other corporate sustainability topics
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Background in economics, finance, sustainability, engineering, and/or climate
  • Good multitasking, organizational, and team skills

EIP is seeking an Associate for the Office of the CEO. This position will work directly with the CEO on all key operational, strategic, and business developments. This position will interact with various teams across the firm and have high visibility into the inner workings of a venture capital firm and its strategic initiatives. Key areas of responsibility:

  • Shadow and support the CEO across multiple strategic organizational initiatives including:
    • Developing Fund strategies

Energy Impact Partners LP is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the growing Finance team led by the CFO and Assistant Controller. The Finance team works closely with the EIP investment, operations and investor relations teams and directly communicates with EIP’s Founder/CEO and COO. This position is based in Washington, DC and will require some travel. 

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and compelling compensation including base salary, annual bonus, and potential future participation in equity programs.

Key areas of responsibility: 

• Coordinate with investment teams for seamless deal execution, portfolio monitoring and funding/disbursements while recording and accounting for related transactions
• Work closely with investment teams on preparation and review of quarterly portfolio company valuations including analysis of complex capital structures and implementation of valuation methodologies in accordance with ASC-820
• Responsible for managing preparation and reviewing annual and quarterly fund financial statements and quarterly/monthly workbooks
• Manage investor requests and responses including working directly with investor relations team on active fundraising
• Work directly with junior staff with a focus on mentorship and training
• Actively manage fund liquidity and line of credit including forecasting, compliance with partnership agreement and determination of timing of investor capital calls

  • Sourcing, vetting and leading new investments across the Deep Decarbonization Frontier Fund’s core investment areas
