Energy Impact Partners LP is seeking a HR & Operations Analyst to work with our Operations Team. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and be based in New York. This role is likely remote until mid 2021.

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Support EIP with all aspects of HR, including:
    • Managing EIP’s talent pipeline, recruitment, and hiring process
    • Onboarding for new employees and offboarding leavers
    • Payroll/benefits administration
    • Planning and overseeing EIP’s summer internship program
  • Assist the Operations team with legal contract/document review for current/potential portfolio companies, vendors, consultants, etc.
  • Assist with various compliance related tasks and follow up

EIP is seeking a Compliance Analyst to work on the Legal/Operations team.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Build out and administer EIP’s core compliance program
    • Finalize code of ethics and compliance manual, and keep documents up to date
    • Build out and administer internal system for tracking outside activities, personal trading, political contributions and other core compliance requirements
    • Day-to-day management of all compliance-related regulatory requirements such as updating the restricted list, reviewing trade preclearance requests, periodic review of electronic communication, and ensuring that attestations are recorded and filed
    • Monitor compliance system for exceptions and alerts, and flag to senior management as needed
    • Assist with regulatory inquiries and examinations
    • Maintain accurate and organized compliance books and records
    • Manage the annual Form ADV update process
  • Assist with legal contract/document review for current/potential portfolio companies, vendors, consultants, etc., including confidentiality agreements, vendor agreements, and advisor agreements

Energy Impact Partners LP is seeking a Junior Accountant to work with our Finance Team. This role will report to the Assistant Controller and be based in Boston or New York. This role is remote at least until January 2021.

Responsibilities:

  • Review portfolio company financial reporting and prepare monitoring reports.
  • Assist with determining quarterly portfolio company valuations in accordance with ASC-820.
  • Reconcile bank accounts to respective ledgers.
  • Book incoming invoices and prepare payments.
  • Book credit card activity to ledger via excel import.
  • Book monthly accruals and amortizations.
  • Prepare capital call notices to investors, and track receipt of funds.
  • Prepare quarterly fund financial statements.
  • Rollforward and maintain quarterly/monthly excel workbooks.
  • Ad hoc analysis and reports as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BA in accounting with exceptional academic performance.
  • 0-2 years of investment or finance experience a plus.
  • Cross-functional experience with driving progress by working closely across internal teams.

We are seeking an office & event manager that will be located in Cologne, Germany. The office & event manager will help run day to day administration of the Cologne office as well as plan and execute larger scale meetings/conference days.

  • Book event venues, photographers, and other vendors as necessary
  • Handle day-of event logistics, including set up and tear down
